Wish you were here on this concrete postcard To see me Sinking faster For your concrete master Stop souls, stop soul With everything you owe The stones that pave our way, We're awaiting to torch Into ashes Woo! (Kickstart the drive) 21 grams isn't heavy enough (We're never satisfied) Uther left his kingdom above (Did you watch me die) Shit, he thought, even my best intentions weren't enough And hope itself is but an obstacle Houston, it seems we have a problem Our astronauts have all shot each other And no one wants to help them Their bodies bone Their stomachs to the ground Their attention on the opposing skyline Their backs are lit by the flame Of a purple sunset that they will never see And by darkness Their bodies will line the sand (Kickstart the drive) 21 grams isn't heavy enough (We're never satisfied) Uther left his kingdom above (Did you watch me die) Shit, he thought, even my best intentions weren't enough And hope itself is but an obstacle Houston, it seems we have a problem Our astronauts have all shot each other And no one wants to help them Cus our time swallows back Cinematic On this savannah So turn your heads to the sky And look at all the pretty lights (For everyday we watch go by's Another way to sit and sigh So I'm never gonna say that I don't try The sunlight sobs as daylight dies)

ALL OF THE LYRICS

about

And so after seeing Abstract Circus play a gig at Brighton's old Engine Rooms venue, having known Lex through school, Wildi offered to join on vocals and rhythm guitar. The now fourpiece changed their name to Dinosaur!Attack! and began writing post-hardcore powerpop with a slightly mathy-tinge. Whatever kind of music it was, they had no idea what to call it.

As D!A! grew as friends their creative force was unstoppable, and after writing a handful of songs in quick succession they somehow managed to scrape together enough money to record with Nick Kinnish at Serafina Studios, then based in Eastbourne, in the Summer of 2009. Though much simpler and a lot poppier than their later work, Immuniser laid the foundations for the experimental high-intensity music that the band became known for over the years. The EP was circulated for free locally, and became a hit amongst friends. Thus the very humble beginnings of a fan base had begun to culminate around them.
